The SIG Sauer BDX system is a tremendous advancement in shooting technology.
In a nutshell, the BDX system lets you pair your riflescope (the SIG Sauer Sierra3BDX) with your SIG rangefinder or SIG KILO 3000 rangefinder binocular system. Once you have both optics systems, you simply use the SIG Sauer BDX app and a bluetooth connection to pair the two devices. Once paired, anything you range will automatically communicate to your rifle optics system, giving you the exact points of which to aim. In order to properly determine these metrics, however, SIG must have the exact ammunition you’re shooting, the correct muzzle velocity, and more. This is all entered inside the app.
So, what scope can you use with the SIG BDX system? SIG Sauer offers a Sierra3BDX riflescope in a couple variations for use with their BDX rangefinders / rangefinder binoculars.
